                My name is Neil Cooper.  Welcome to the “Reinventing Me” web site.  I am a professional leadership and business coach.  I work with business owners, executives, managers, and management teams as well as with job seekers.  I was certified as a business coach in 2008 after graduating from iPEC Coaching school in Shrewsbury NJ.  I spent my adult life in the men’s fashion business, and I received a Master Practitioner certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming from the NLP Center of New York. 

                I teach art of leadership and the power of personal development through a program called “Reinventing Me”.  I am grateful to share with you cutting edge information that will support your reinvention.  It takes courage and commitment and I would like to acknowledge your desire to make things happen for yourself.  I work many dynamic people who give their valuable time learning the art of leadership.  

                The great recession is causing millions of people to reevaluate their career and life.  It has created a permanent paradigm shift.  It has changed the economic landscape and caused us to question the fabric of our society and the basics of our personal lives.  The economic turmoil has created dramatic trends.  We are reinventing ourselves by becoming more effective leaders, and focusing on our personal development to allow ourselves to manage our mind, spirit, bodies, and emotions more effectively in times of uncertainty and rapid change.  We are reexamining our business skills and personnel to make them more effective and profitable in challenging times. We are going back to school, discovering new career paths, starting new businesses, and reformulating retirement.  The bottom line is that millions of people are focusing on a life and career of purpose and meaning as we follow our dreams into uncharted territory.

With millions of Americans are out of work, 8.7% of job seekers find employment by starting a new business.  The good news is that many of these new companies are seeing opportunity and will become tremendously successful companies of all sizes in the next 10-15 years.  Starting a new company takes a whole new set of knowledge and skills to succeed.  Substantial numbers of new companies will fail and I teach new business owners how to succeed.

I teach owners and managers to achieve higher levels of Emotional Intelligence and specific management skills to be truly effective.

Americans are beginning to demand transparency, ethics and integrity in our government, our corporations, as well as our friends and associates.  We seek a government that represents everyday people, corporations that are responsible not only to their shareholders but also society, and leaders whose actions are in harmony with their thoughts and values.  I teach business owners and managers how to be fearless and to feel safe in expressing themselves appropriately and at the same time to act according to their highest values.

Executives, managers and workers are disengaged from their work.  The quality of work/life balance is more important even as it is harder to achieve.  We are seeking alternative work place situations with environments where the leadership creates an atmosphere that is constructive and disciplined, and fosters individual and team development.  People are searching for companies that won’t kill them with negative energy and high stress.  In the new age of intense competition, I work with business owners and managers to be effective in the art of leadership and to achieve higher levels of creativity, innovation, organization, productivity, and job satisfaction.

The Reinventing Me TM Process – 5 Steps to Success

                We hate uncertainty.  How do you bring certainty into an uncertain situation?  You do it by creating a direction for yourself and the company, by knowing your vision, intentions and developing a few crystal clear achievable objectives.

5 Step Process to create your Ideal business:

Vision: The ideal image of what you want your company to be and how you want to operate your business each day. 

Intentions and objectives: What are the company’s specific, measurable objectives and what is the meaning behind those objectives.  Get everyone in the company engaged because they know what they want to have happen and why it’s so important. 

Company values: The values you and your company represent and making sure everyone in the company is on the same page.  This means getting everyone in the company moving in the same direction.

Strategy and processes: How do you get from where you are now to the ideal of where you want to be?  What resources do you need?  What personal attributes might be holding you back from success?
